I am looking for some active noise cancelling headphones, the bose 20's seem to be a good option but I wonder if anyone has a set and what you think to them ?

Have some QC15s and they're amazing. Not sure how well the in ear versions work.

I think I need to go test them both tbh, I put the 3's on at Birmingham airport and "meh" they blocked some noise but on ear phones couldn't cope with the noise in the duty free.
good but not great, compared to what I hear about the 15's and 20's I need to go try them.

I went for the 15s over the 3s because they completely enclose the ear rather than just sitting on top. I think a try is definitely worthwhile. They're really comfy too, not cheap however.
price isn't the issue, just trying to figure out the best option, 20 or 15's

Spent a good half hour in Curry's today who had the 3's and 15's on a Bose demo stand. Happy with the 15's, being able to compare the 3's shows how poor the sound leakage is compared to the 15's.
as they have no 20's I didn't fancy going in blind so I walked out of Currys and placed the Amazon order I had seen for the Slate/Brown on offer, the price had dropped again so I paid £210

I know these get rave reviews but I have found a bloody annoying issue, when I have my music up loud (on my phone) I am fighting to get a perfect seal, wearing glasses doesn't help matters but even without them on the seals less than perfect, I can jiggle them round and push the headband until it hurts the top of my head after a while. If the seals broken they distort making them sound like a £5 pair of cheap cans
I am going to give them more time before I decide if I will return them... they need breaking in!

20's arrived today after a farce using collect+...
have to say they are on par with the 15's, added bonus of resting in the ears so very comfy, also work with no power (bonus)
and more portable.
but can i let the 15's go even though I am going to keep the 20's :|
