Journey to the Elan Valley, that pic wasnt long after I had the bike.

Bought in Feb last year, £2800 with 3120 miles on her, and full service history (@1!!). Mods to date: fly screen, LED Indies, heated grips. Did have crash bars, but one of teh welds broke in an altercation with the road. Ordered bungs to be delivered soon, look like oversized coke cans, apparantly.

Currently got 12kmiles on the clock, serviced every 4k by a local dealer. Runs on Perelli Diablo's, better than the standard BT056's, and the BT020's recommended by all and sundry. I found the BT020's toooo milage focused, and not enough grip in the wet-for me thats a big, big turn off. Get circa 5k miles out of a rear, and 8 out of a front. Suits my kind of riding to a T.

A later trip to the Elan Valley, this is a favorite ride of me and my friends. That was the week it threw it down everyday. We had snow falling on us the way there as well.

My last 'blade was the same model as Gibbo's, the original concept (900 engine in a 600 frame) and probably the best in terms of lunacy

    Re: 'Bike Showroom V1.0

I had a 50cc piaggio NRG MC3. It was de-restricted with a gianellie exhaust (the original blew up). It was fast for a 50, I could get about 60mph on a flat. However midway through december I was on it at midnight and the roads were icy and I ended up going the other side of the bend and hitting the curb. I bounced along the entrance to a quarry company. I went to AnE and I hade broken both of my wrists and my right elbow. I still can't straighten my elbow and it is painful when touched.

Just a little warning to all you bikers.

    Re: 'Bike Showroom V1.0

Thoron - is that front tyre the correct way round? Looks like its a directional tyre stuck on backwards?

I E in the wet, it is pushing water to the centre of the tyre?

More likely the wheel is on the wrong way around..if that's possible (can't see why not).
