Peugeot 308SE AUTOMATIC 2009

While driving the above car at a road speed of 50mph the engine is running at 3000rpm. Is this right?

Also two symbols appear where the sports symbol shows, one so the 's' at the bottom right, and the other is a a solid orange square (?). These both flash continuously.........what is going on?????

Well that will depend on what gear you are in?

I could be driving at 30mph at 6000rpm in first gear, or 1500rpm in 5th gear.

In relation to the lights I would consult your manual, if you haven't got one google is your friend, or ring a local Peugeot dealer.
