I think Rosberg does have some inner steel, and it would be the perfect response to Hamilton breaking team orders in the last race (using an engine map they'd agreed not to), but also it would have been mega-risky to deliberately induce an over-speed at that point - so easy to damage the car, and a gamble to assume yellows would come out. On balance, I think initially it's not deliberate - once he's cocked up though I'm sure he didn't think 'oh I must make sure not to cause any yellows' - he could have waited before reversing for instance.

Do you think Hamilton really had something in his eye towards the end or was he trying to justify coming second?

    Kudos to Bianci.
I'm not sure Lewis was acting up. Brundle said his eye looked 'puffy' and it started with 12 laps left, more than enough time left to make a pass.

Not sure how Brundle could have seen, but I'll take it as read for the moment

I scored the lowest out of everyone in the Hexus league this race, you're back on top

I haven't seen the highlights yet but it was good to see Marussia score some points; they're a great bunch of people.

I was toying between picking Raikonnen or the 2 Marussia drivers and figured with Monaco it's best to have more drivers as anything might happen; looks like I was right!

This was a thrilling race. All the other "races" between the two Mercedes cars were so much lesser in any way than 90% of the action we saw today. Thumbs up and I hope Mercedes will have more problems from here onwards. Canada delivers again, I think this is definitely one of the greatest races of the season.

My heart sank for Massa and Perez but it was indeed a spectacular race. I really hope Ricciardo gets a Championship under his belt in his time at the top.

I think they will try and give Vettel one before that if they have the opportunity but Ricciardo is well worth one too. I think they drive in similar way, just Ricciardo is a bit luckier in strategy and usually makes the overtakes of his team mate in the pit.

It was spectacular - dull start (apart from marrusia's.. funny comment from Tom that it was all bianchi's fault!), but cracking ending. I haven't seen what happened to Button yet but it sounds like he had a great penultimate lap!

Yeah I'm not sure what Chilton is smoking. I don't rate him at all, all he had going for him before this weekend was that he had always finished Grand Prix that he started. That's obviously a lot easier when you are at the back of the grid, taking no chances and avoiding trouble.
Bianchi is the real hero of that team IMO.

Yes and no. Whilst it was close, the fact was that there wasn't that much overtaking considering. Vettel seemed to spend just about all his race behind a Force India. Massa got stuck behind the Hulkenburg train until he took advantage of Bottas' mistake. He rocketed up to the next train and again got stuck until Perez's brakes really struggled.

Out of the 5 drivers in my team (forgot to change it), only 1 finished...

    Re: F1 2014 (And fantasy F1)

The problem with overtaking Force Indias was that they have a very high speed trap and usually great traction out of corners. Red Bull are obviously not fast on the straights, why Williams could not overtake was more or less the fault of the older tyres of Botas that was keeping Massa stuck. I think Vettel would have made the Perez overtake faster than Ricciardo as he was even faster in absolute value than the Mexican but he was not fast enough to overtake his team mate with DRS for both of them.

Now that was a qualifying session and a half! What was Lewis thinking? Poor chap, seems really down about it! Sure he'll bounce back though.
