Not that I wanna drag the thread away from Guys rather lovely Skoda... As seriously capable of grabbing my attention in that colour as it is.... it is a lovely thing

That is one damn good looking Ford though! I mean really, for an estate car that thing looks all kinds mean and stylish all at the same time. That's something I haven't said about a Ford that wasn't a Mustang or a GT40 in a loooooong time too!!

    Love that colour.

Currently driving a 1.2 Limited Edition (Snigger) Corsa, should be upgrading in about a year and this car is on my list.

If you dont mind me asking, Guy, what gadets / extra's did this come with?

The only options that were spec'd over the standard car were the black design pack, sunset glass, spare wheel and the basic nav.

Standard VRS spec includes dual zone climate, bluetooth & USB, voice control, adaptive bi-xenons, cruise & lane assist and a few other bits and pieces I've prob missed.

Re: A new horse to the stable!

Two and a half thousand miles in and the first chip in the windscreen. I was hoping for a slightly longer innings than that!

Luckily it's not in my line of sight at all, unluckily it hit the very top of the screen where it's weakest and won't be a patch up job.
First (certainly not the last) battle scar!

Parked in the sun all day has taken its toll!

I'll see how much of a pain it is and if the sun reflects it badly, suspect it'll be £80 vanishing soon.

That would have me climbing the walls in short order. I had to stop to clean bug guts off the window today, and they weren't even in my FOV

    I won't lie it's already bugging me!

Just pulled the docs out and I was wrong. £100 for the windscreen.

I'd be getting that fixed sharpish; it's somewhat dangerous to have such a large crack in the screen.

Re: A new horse to the stable!

Apart from an ever so slight reduction in structural force, it being laminated the dangers are minimal at best.

It'll get done but suspect (and judging on previous wait times) it'll be a week or two.
