Saw that. I've always wanted one of these.
Of course you'd have to change the engine, brakes, suspension etc. - I I wonder if there's an option just to buy the shell ?
    Society's to blame,
    Or possibly Atari.

I hope it doesn't rain otherwise production might stall

They don't know which engine they will end up with, just that the old PRV engine isn't an option: http://arstechnica.co.uk/cars/2016/0...g-new-dmc-12s/

Sadly the V6 seems to be a dying breed, so I don't think there are many to choose from. Made in America would probably point to something like a Pentastar unit, which at 280bhp is about double what the old PRV put out in American emissions reducing form and sounds about right to me

Chevy V8 would be brilliant. I'd love to see one of these with an LS7 in it doing donuts.

Or perhaps they should go electric powered, that would be cool.

Still an ugly looking car, though... I'd be more excited if he was doing Capris and Supra mkIIs!!

Don't see this working out very well. It's almost like re-making the Spectrum or Commodore of the car world. Nostalgia will not be the same again.
