Best Antifreeze screenwash?

What are you guys using to stop your wiper wash freezing? I was using a German one I got from Lidl last year £6 for 5 litres. Blue liquid - down to -60 degrees. Worked a treat! But it has run out and Lidl never got it in again this year

What do you guys recommend?

I have tried a few from tesco etc but they were rubbish and froze in my tank which makes my 40 mile motorway trip a nightmare

Blue Stuff you get from Tesco/Morrisons/Asda always works for me.

It's hardly expensive. The good stuff is £3.50 for 5l of ultra concentrate, which makes up to 100l. RainX is far more expensive.

But a 5l 'concetrate' diluted to 100l is going to freeze just below 0c.

I use both.

I presume you live somewhere that has proper rain, drops the size of your fist etc?

Wussy southern rain is just a drizzle, so you need screen wash to get the grime off the screen kicked up from the car in front far more than you need rain protection.

RainX is brilliant for cleaning the shower though (but again, if you don't live in the south where the tap water is a saturated chalk solution you probably don't need that either).

I tend to use the Halfords wash, and dilute it about half and half as it never gets that cold. Supermarket stuff can be smeary, I gave up trying it.

I use the Audi stuff as it's colourless so doesn't leave blue/pink streaks down the side of your car. Good to -70C as well apparently.

Angelwax H2GO and Gtechniq G1 are vastly superior. Angelwax have a screenwash called Clarity that actually tops up the protective coating on the windscreen too.

Sonax works a treat and Autoglym's is very good. At £4 a 500ml bottle it isn't the cheapest, but it works very well at 1:9

Sainsburys do some that asks to be diluted 19:1! Ought to be good for at least -7C probably (the premixed stuff claims as such at least), and I'm a southern pansy so that's good enough for me. It claims to add a rain repellent coating to the screen, and £4 per litre for concentrate is reasonable.

decent moonshine will also do a good job, makes cops confused as hell when they stop you and breathalyzer doesn't show anything
