    As a teenager I always wanted one of the 1.8 180Bhp Rover Metros... Quite a few produced as the front subframe was nearly identical to the MGF's rear subframe that housed the same K series engine just a bit bigger. Was supposed to be a easy swap if you could get clever with the airbox and electrics. I remember seeing a Rover 100 with one but completely left alone look wise (even had the old exhaust inserted in the new wider exhaust so it wasn't obvious). Saw it having fun with a few BMW/Audis!

    A rover 100 with 180hp sounds hilarious. Beemer make a 1.6litre straight six for their bikes these days, and I think it could be a lot of fun in a kit car
