I dont think I would do it to be honest.

I think what you have said would be enough.

How much of a power increase did you see with those mods?

I'm running 216 BHP currently, so about a 20 BHP boost. The torque curve is much flatter too - this is what really helps.

I know nothing about car mods and what kind of power gains you would expect, but is that 16 BHP increase (If the car was 200 at stock) what you were expecting, or were your main goals just to improve drivability and not necessarily gain massive amounts of power?

They're 197 BHP stock as quoted, but many are a bit down on that - 185 BHP seems a common number. I expected about 20 BHP gain, so mine is probably one of the better engines, making close to stated power originally. So yes, the gain is about what I expected, but the driveability is the main benefit (and sound).

They are. Unfortunately someone liked mine a bit too much last night and decided to put a dent in my front passenger wing, cracking the paint. Gutted.

    Noooooooooooooooooo

They do look amazing. I often see one of two on my way home, one of them with an aftermarket exhaust and it sounds rather nice..

So many choices though...I hate adulting...

    Not ginger anyway

It was white and if memory serves me well, I am fairly sure it had an aftermarket rear spoiler that was black (Was around the Manchester City stadium area of Manchester)

One of my favorite reviewers just did a segment (albeit short) on the Toyota 86, so it could well be worth a watch if you are looking at the car. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZsmEcYqCsM

And the video that turned me onto him: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mi0yXeuqBjU
Not sure if it was here that I first saw it but thought it's worth posting in case someone found it amusing too.
