| Corsair Power Supply Configurator Hey guys, we got a power supply configurator up similiar to our memory configurator. If you just want to take a look and give us any feedback that would be appreciated. It does not do a specific wattage rating like some calculators. Tell us what you think. | Re: Corsair Power Supply Configurator It would be nice if you could put a "No Graphics Card / Integrated Graphics" option in. But then your smallest PSU is like 450W so it probably doesn't make sense. Nice to see a PSU calculator that doesn't give bloated number like the eXtreme Power Supply Calculator (which eXtremely overestimate like the name implies) It seems quite accurate as a Pentium D (+extreme OC) + 7900GT system + 10 HDDs drains about 470W (from socket) on startup (measured) which is comfortably handled by a HX450W as recommended. | Re: Corsair Power Supply Configurator minor bug? enter 6 hard disks. it recommends the HX520w (the only modular one of three) - which apparently only has 4 sata power connectors. if I have spare corsair modular sata power leads from another PSU - could I plug these into the molex sockets instead? |
