Corsair Graphite Series 230T ANY GOOD?

    Hi everyone,

This is my first post even though I have been buying from Scan for years and reading Hexus for even longer.

Any way, I am looking to buy the new Corsair Graphite 230T for a friends first build as a christmas gift.

He has an ASUS ROG ATX mobo with an AMD processor, AMD 7870 graphics card, 16GB Ram and the processor is cooled with a Corsair H80 water cooler.

Would this case be a good fit for these components.

I have read the Custom PC review which marked it favourably but would like to get any first hand experience from you all.

    Thanks in advance.

I've not got one, but it is spec'ed to hold an ATX board, and has more than enough space to fit the H80 at the rear, and it may fit in the roof as well, but I cont remember the clearance for the MoBo up there. As for the GPU, it should fit no problems.

I know it's an old thread now, but put the h80 at the back and it'll all fit in great. If you wanted to fit a 240/280 radiator in it though, you'd either have to only use a couple of screws to hold it in the roof or secure it firmly but with the fans on the roof outside the case. Unless you decided to mod it all and try get it in the front....

I know this is going to require you a lot of reading if you really want to find out what other people's thought on the 230T, http://www.overclock.net/t/831636/of...80t-230t/17660. There are a lot of 230T owners there that can provide you feedback. I hope it helps.
