    Re: Corsair Carbide Air 240

The 240 seemed like the perfect case for a water cooled dual gpu render node (in desktop mode in my case)....especially after reading the announcement' page because it makes it sound like you could do 2x240 rads in matx with the "pre-spaced holes for 240mm radiators on the top, bottom and front".

So I went off on a hunt for the very very limited information and it looks like it can't do 2x rads with matx... the vid with tek syndicate pretty much confirms it doesn't (I'd love to be proven wrong here )

Obviously you'd need 2 rads for a dual gpu rig but looking around it doesn't look like it supports this with matx....which is disappointing for me personally because I could have lived with an extra 20mm (in height in picture) or so if it allowed that second 240mm rad.

So for me it was so so close to being perfect but for that lack of a second rad with matx

    Re: Corsair Carbide Air 240

That is correct.. By default, you can put 2 x 240 rad when using mITX MB. While mATX will only allow you to put 1 x 240 rad in the front. You could probably mod the case to add a second rad if you want to.

Maybe the future version will be perfect for you

This looks like the perfect case for me to downsize to! I've been using an Antec 1200 for the last few builds but really don't need all the space... My latest build included an M-atx board (ASUS ROG Maximus V Gene) so I should be able to drop this straight in. A question though. With this board and a GTX 680, will I be able to use a h100i in push/pull?

Nice idea. I'd like to see a sound optimised version (maybe an Obsidian version). Price is pretty high though for what you get..

H100i in push/pull should be fine. There is enough space in the front to mount the second set of fans.

Some have suggested this, an Obsidian version. A good idea imo, it'd almost look like the 250D but the cube version. Now that would look interesting.

The price I think is pretty reasonable, considering all the features you get from a very compact case.

Tbh, when we first learned about this case, most of us here thought the price was going to be steep due to the feature set of the case.. but we were surprised when marketing announced the MSRP. The price after all was that bad at all, at £70 it is very competitive.

Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts on both of our cube type cases

You should post some photos of both yours and your son's build. Kinda like father and son but in terms of PC case

    Re: Corsair Carbide Air 240

I'm curious to if this case has sold out everywhere or if its still yet to be released here in the UK? Both Scan & OCUK are still under the 'pre-order' status. I've also contacted a local supplier CCL who have told me that they've got the case in their system but they've had no notice on when they'll be receiving it and I quote "I'm not certain when we will be seeing them again I'm afraid." which makes me think they've already had some but they've gone out of stock?

Probably sold out... This was always going to be a very popular case... Keep checking back on the websites and I'm sure it'll be updated soon!

    Re: Corsair Carbide Air 240

Many popular retailers are selling them like pancakes, and we are having hard time meeting the demand in different regions worldwide. There are more to come though, so stay tuned with your favorite reseller. They will stock them soon enough.
