I wouldn't describe the Q1 Ultra and Eee as filling the same role, whilst i have a q1 ultra, the eee is still useful for different things.
the Q1 ultra runs vista, with tablet style input. I use it mostly in a vertical hand held, one hand operation mode. Can easily use it like this for quite some time on end.

the point of a touch screen is more the software behind it and the accuracy of the screen.
the cpu in the ultra is barely enough to run OneNote properly.

didn't mean to come of like i'm biting your hand off.
What i'm meanign to say is that people shouldn't label anything thats portable a UMPC, and therefore them all alike. The same way a laptop and a mini-itx shouldn't be compared as small pcs.
