Samsung's UMPC keyboard is growing on us

Samsung's UMPCs are on show at CeBIT alongside the company's small, portable UMPC keyboard. We've seen the keyboard before but only now are we starting to like it.

"On the other hand, you could buy an ASUS Eee PC and save yourself a lot of money."

    I couldn't agree more..

I wouldn't describe the Q1 Ultra and Eee as filling the same role, whilst i have a q1 ultra, the eee is still useful for different things.

the Q1 ultra runs vista, with tablet style input. I use it mostly in a vertical hand held, one hand operation mode. Can easily use it like this for quite some time on end.

    You've got a Q1? Cool

I'm toying with the idea of doing the 20quid touchscreen mod to the eee

the point of a touch screen is more the software behind it and the accuracy of the screen.

the cpu in the ultra is barely enough to run OneNote properly.

I just mentioned it in passing..
I just thought it'd be a fun mod twas all. Accuracy and cpu power shouldn't be an issue for what I want it for..

didn't mean to come of like i'm biting your hand off.

What i'm meanign to say is that people shouldn't label anything thats portable a UMPC, and therefore them all alike.

The same way a laptop and a mini-itx shouldn't be compared as small pcs.
