FOXCONN give it some AM2 lovin'

FOXCONN are supporting AM2 with their latest board, the 975 2.0 Digital PWM which we were lucky enough to be near as they were actually setting it up. But the board has something else rather special about it.. so you'd better check it out in this CeBIT 2006 Headline.

Are you sure you've got the right pics? Firstly, those boards are different, and secondly, i suspect that the 975 2.0 would be an intel board (975?). I would imagine that the first board is an mAtx core duo, and the other one is conroe compatible.

Agree, the top photo may be AM2 but the other MB is definitely Intel.
One giveaway (apart from the 975 number) is the fact that AMD boards are badged Winfast and Intel boards are badged Foxconn.
I'm interested to know more on the digital PWM. The Foxconn/Winfast Q1-2 2006 products presentation I attended recently made no mention of it....

EDIT:Seemingly the Winfast with Digital PWM is known as MCP55PM2AA-8EKRS2 (NVIDIA MCP55P) but has a chipset fan
