    SilentFlux phase change cooler

Whilst a phase change cooler is nothing new, the SilentFlux media cooler differs from others on the market with the way it moves the liquid around the cooler itself.

Check out the details in this CeBIT Headline

That is the entire cooler with the fan being the only moving part.

You can find some more pictures at our site http://www.hwt.dk/news.asp?id=11797 (sorry it's in danish). The guy in the middle of the fourth picture is the founder of our site and co-founder of Noise Limit, so we got the first look on the cooler (we live in the same hostel as Noise Limit ).

The S939 version (and desktop version too I think) is capable of removing 130 Watts at 29 dB and keeping an X2 4400+ under full load at 22 degrees celcius above room temperature.

22 degrees? Or 22 degrees over ambient? Not to slight you, its an awesome product, but 22 above room isnt all that amazing for 29dba, which isnt that quiet. Still, any chance of a slightly bigger (2x120) one, with flexible pipes that could mount onto a case?

22 degrees over ambient yes, but it's not the temperature that's amazing, it's the possibilities this product brings. For now flexible pipes is out of the question and turning the cooler around isn't a good idea either (fluid flow). We were told something like flexible pipes, casemod versions, GFX versions would be possible, all it takes is time.

Btw., stop by the homepage for more info: www.noiselimit.com

Looks interesting, specifically the ATX version. Suppose its usefulness all depends on price point really.

Price depends on the retailers such as Akasa, but for now all they could tell me was, that it will be competitive.

The best I can do is our (Hardware-Test) review here: hwt.dk/literaturedetails.aspx?TeaserID=6996

It's in danish, but the numbers are still applicable

We visited Noise Limit at CeBIT this year too. Not much news other than improvements to further enhance the performance and a final deal with Akasa ( hexus.net/content/item.php?item=5026 ).

(Sorry for the only half-completed urls, but as I have only 4 posts I can't post urls yet...)
