ASRock manifests AMD AM2 expansion card

Remember ECS's PF88 from last CeBIT? Shame on you if you don't, since we broke the story back then and were the first to review it shortly after. Well ASRock are doing something similar with their eSATA2 boards and this upgrade card bringing AM2 and DDR2 when you want it, without the expense of a full system change.

its not a PCI card, its an add-on card that goes in a propriatary socket, in the case of AS-ROCK this can be seen on the mainboards as a yellow socket.

    Matt.
