I might be a little behind with case design but that really did seem pretty awesome...

I've been hoping that they would make something in the vein of the P182 but roommier, I'm not too keen on thewhole bling-ness of their newer case's... Maybe a P190 without the dual PSU's and side fan...

Looks like the tri-cool was on low, really low risk for finger damage.

I quite like the look of this case.

    Looks far too heavy though.

how that case made it through the whole clip without falling I don't know. He kept scaring me when it wobbled.

At least they have listened to people and watched the modders at work on their cases. The filters seem to be put in all their new cases, wiring is a lot easier than in my original 900 and they're painting the cases black inside too, like most people have done. Not quite sure why they have done it on this case tho' as there is no window.

If you're referring to the front fan, during the shooting, the fan filters were taken off.

I am generally a big fan of antec products and i love the perspects front cover. Althoguht would it not be restricting with air flow. The antec 900 and 1200 have been so successfull its hard to make something good even better imo.

Actually no because of the way it's getting it's air, you can see vents running along both edges of the front when he removes the door, the air is getting sucked in through the side vents through thoes front vents into the space between the case front and door, where it's then drawn into the case through the hard drive cages.
Looks like the side vents are covered by mesh which would also add an extra layer of filtering to the air.

Yes it looked heavy, so's an antec p180 and p182, don't see many people complaining about there weight.
However it seems to have handles built in at the front and back so it should be easier to move about than a p180 or p182.

All told I think this looks like a great case so far have too see what the cost will be.

Question Re: CES 2009 : Antec showcase the new P1000 chassis

What are the side to side width dimensions? i.e. will it be 19" rack mountable. If so this would expand its potential sales as the case with handles seems ready made for horizontal studio and mobile racking.
