    Gaming Socket 604 Motherboard

I've been looking around for a motherboard that will fit into a standard atx case that is socket 604 CPU compatible.

The only one's I can find don't have PCI-E slots so it makes it impossible to fit a decent graphics card.

Does anyone know of any high spec gaming motherboards that meet this spec?

    Cheers

I have to be honest - I think you're going to be pushed at this. Socket 604 was designed for workstation/server work, so I can't see why there would be any motherboards designed for gaming available.

Good luck with the search though.

    In a word... No.

You could get a 3850 in AGP though, it will cost about £80 gaming performance will be alright depending on resolution.

the only board that i can think of that fits 604 xeon and has pci-e 16x is the Supermicro X6DAL-TB2 you can find it on google shopping but the cheapest price is £266 for that you can get a decent p45 board and a q6600 which wald also be a damn site faster.
