I cut out the side fan and small window and made a much bigger window. Also I painted the entire case inside and out in flat black.

Any chance you have higher quality images? Images of the component too? Looks like you're using a mobile phone camera tbh which is a shame cos your build looks really nice!

Airline lost some of my luggage and my camera was part of that loss. Will get better pics on here soon. Thanks for the kind words.

    Re: Computer Case/Mods Gallery

I recently made a rig in a CM Storm Sniper case. Super case. Spacious, elegant and above all, excellent for WM, thanks to the smart holes in the tray, the space next to the tray and to the huge space between the tray and the side panel where you can perfect arrange the cables to be hidden.

    CPU:
    AMD Phenom II X6 1055T

    Motherboard:
    Asus Crosshair IV Formula

    Memory:
Kingston 4 GB DDR3 CL9 Dual Channel Kit HyperX

    HDD:
    Western Digital 1TB SATA-III 7200 rpm 64MB Caviar Black

    Graphics card(s):
    Sapphire Radeon HD5870 Vapor-X 1GB

    Sound card:
    Creative X-Fi FATAL1TY

    Optical drive(s):
    LG GH22NS50

    Power Supply:
    Seasonic X-750

    CPU Cooler:
    Noctua D14

    Fans:
    stock 200mm

    Case:
    CM Storm Sniper

With lights off looks sober and elegant

    ... from anywhere you looking.

If you choose to leave them on then you have some bling bling.

Buttons, switches, plugs and jacks are located very conveniently at hand.

    Looks great under the desk

    From the front...

    ...and from the side

Inside it looks just as promising. Was a true champion of the facilities and WM.

As i've already said, very spacious

...so, even the true beasts like Noctua NH-D14 don't seems to be anymore so frightening.

I agree that a very long AD_EXT ribbon cable would have helped me a lot but ... that's it... F@#$k Creative...

It would have been nice to have more black straps, but not ... I was almost pleased with some white, scattered

Even with a modular PSU, on the back are a bunch of cables but ...

... all are obedient to their place,

being very afraid to show themselves up

The End ... with the panel that closed without even the slightest hint of opposition...

Looks very clean indeed, shame about the IDE cables though.

It's a shame that you didn't sleeve the PSU cables though.

    Re: Computer Case/Mods Gallery

I could not do anything with that cable ... That man wanted to have the controls on the front panel and the cable was too short to lead it thru the back of the tray. PSU cables are already sleeved but the sleeving does not reach to the end of cables...

Thats not a IDE cable, its the ribbon cable that goes from the sound card to the front panel connections

    Re: Computer Case/Mods Gallery

Pics of my new system. But I think I might need new case and cooler.

Done a little mod by getting rid of the HD cage so 9800gtx+ will fit and fitted a 120mm fan for front intake.

    Stock pic of case

Unusual case you have Cub161 , the side door of this ANTEC close/open in vertical movement , instead of the usual horizontal movement

    Re: Computer Case/Mods Gallery

@cub1061: aren't your case fans on backwards? It seems to me that they're blowing in the opposite direction to the CPU fan, or are they just manufactured that way? Mine blows from the side without those 4 'arms' which hold the rotor to the side with the arms - as if yours back fan would blow air inside the case.

Got me think now. Have set front fan for intake and rear for exhaust.
Must be how they are design as rear fan is pulling air out of the case.

    Thanks Queelis
I did have them blowing the wrong way.

The side panel lifts up to open, which can be a pain at time as it mean I have to take the top of each time. Will get new case when I have funds.

I think vertical lift of side panel is OK , I turn my case 90 degrees , and now also my case have side panel with vertical lift to open , fully vertical airflow inside my case with chimney lift effect due to twins 140mm exhaust fans on the ( new ) roof of the case

personally i would do it the other way as most grapahics cards exhaust from the PCI bracket. Take a look at the Silverstone FT02 and Raven cases
