Anyone own a Fractal Design Define R4? Have a question

Thinking of buying this case because I'm fed up of my rattling noisy old CM Stacker.

Notice it has 2.5" SSD mounts on the back of the motherboard panel. But I'm wondering how these are attached - do you have to remove the motherboard to get them on and off?

As an owner of the arc midi, yeah you have to remove the mobo to screw, unscrew the ssd (unless you put the ssd in before you build the rig - but then if you want to remove it you will have to remove the mobo)

The arc 'mini' has brackets (a newer feature) You could always velcro it or have it just sat behind the mobo tray. They are all very nice cases though!

Hmm okay. That's slightly annoying, you'd think they'd know that detaching the mobo just to remove a hard disk is slightly inconvenient. Will just see about strapping it up with velcro or something instead.

Just to confirm that the R4 is the same as the Arc Midi like Jellyfish has said. Have to remove mobo to unscrew.

To be honest I had mine screwed to the back until the 1st time I had to remove it and then after that point I just let it hang there on its cable

WOW. I have never had such a massive amount of hassle with a case before.

Almost got my motherboard stuck inside the R4 when a screw got jammed in a standoff, and only retrieved it by using a power drill to cut right through. Now there's another standoff that's completely stuck in the motherboard tray. What the actual ****.
