12v Molex to 3v Fan

I've just pulled out the clicky Fractal "Silent Series" fans from my case and replaced them with 4 aerocool dead silence fans.

All good so far, but unfortunately the fan controller on my case (Fractal ARC Mini R2) only supports 3 fans, so I have one that's running off a 12v molex to 3pin fan adapter that came with the aerocools. They are a bit annoying running at full pelt.

Does anyone know of an inline 12v molex ->3v fan stepdown that I can put between the molex and the fan? It's only going to be wafting air over my drives so doesn't need to be variable, just slow and quiet

Iirc correctly if you can move the pins on the molex around you can get 7v 5v or 12v.

Can you not use a motherboard fan header and set the speed through your motherboard? Be careful messing with fan voltages, some need the a higher voltage to start up, even if they're capable of running at a lower voltage once moving. I actually had a fan die on me after I used an adaptor to drop it to 7v...

Noctua fans come with a 3-pin (or 4-pin, depending) Low Noise Adapter that does a similar thing. I'm sure there are other brands for such a product, by whatever name they call it.
