    sound proofing a coolermaster stacker

Has any of you had any experience in making a cooler master stacker as sound proof as possible (applying padding, replacing fans etc)

I'd be interested in hearing from any one with direct experience or general experience in sound proofing with theory on the stacker.

    thanks.

this is a very interesting post - thank you. Raises a good point about the ali chassis conducting sound.

I can't find an case with as many front accessable pannels - or even close.

Thanks for the feedback on this.

I have a stacker with watercooling which reduces noise somewhat. I didnt bother with the crossflow fan and changed and added more quiet case fans. Doesnt seem to bad although there are holes everywhere but if you keep the fans as quiet as possible that will not be such a problem.

This might sound daft but its cheap and ghetto , stick a large cardboard box over it.

    thats totally reasonable.

Research suggests the problem will be vibration through the chassis - which has been mentioned in this thread too.
