It's not hard, and makes it stand out. Just get some green LED fans in there too.

I'll give you some tips if you like.

you could mount a 7" lcd on the top and some sort of control panel for fans and lights with a nob switch so that you can click it to turn them on or off and twist to turn the voltage p and consequently the brightness

    Case: lian li A71a
    Mobo: Asus striker 2 formula
    Cpu: E6600 @ 3.0ghz
    Ram: 2x(2x1gb) Corsair xms2
    Hdd: 2xSeagate barracuda 500gb (raid 0)
    1xSeagate barracuda 320gb
    Gfx card: 2xBFG 640mb 8800gts OC sli'd
    Soundcard: Asus Xonar D2X
    Psu: BFG 800W Eseries
    Hsf: thermalright ultra-120 extreme

You could use a picture frame guess, and any see through acrylic would do.

picture frame lol Im either going to lay the plexi so that it is a sheet precisely cut to size that fits in the hole held by rubber mouldings or I can just cut the hole sand the edges to prevent cutting and stick the sheet of plexi under the hole and use silicone to glue it on
