Re: My Custom RC-1100 Cosmos Nice build. Your cables look tidier than mine and I cut holes in mine to hide em ![]() Whats going on with the polycarb though? Theres a pic of cutting and painting, but thats it. Did you make a new side panel or something?

Re: My Custom RC-1100 Cosmos cool, did you take any pics of the finished sidepanel? I managed to get a TRUE in my one by mounting it horizontally. Your push-pull setup would probably still get in the way though.

Re: My Custom RC-1100 Cosmos Personally I think you should of run some rubber or silicon to make sure it didn't rattle and left it clear. that way you could see in through the mesh, but no dust will get sucked in. Thinking about that, how's this bloocking up of a major air vent effected the cooling? aka the bargin-bucket-build Is now FINISHED

Re: My Custom RC-1100 Cosmos well i took the fan out of mine and the panel didnt fall out, maybe you should have put the fan mount back in after dremeling off anything that would catch ![]() i got the side panel for my original version with soundproofed side panel as i wanted more airflow after fitting a pa120.3 in the top and buggering up the airflow ![]() trouble is i shut the side one day and a water pipe caught the fan and broke a fin.. not that it really needs the fan as the huge vent did the trick

Airflow is fine, I just need powerful and quiet fans. Stock fans are not ideal, and loud. This means I won't be able to the fan and sound card upgrade I planned for another 2 months instead of the expected one! I am also considering giving my server an overhaul, which is kinda loud, with one of these, possibly replacing the top fan with a Noctua P12 if there is room. (I think there is), and the case fans, as well as giving it a cable management overhaul. It just whirrs away in the spare room at the moment, annoying anyone who steps into the room.
