    indeed.

Hard to say off thoes pics, it's easy to tell, especially with mesh
my guess is ether gloss or a satin matte
I seem to remember that plasti-kote is popular with computer case mods
www.mnpctech.com have got some good video tutorials on spary painting
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znv5Fpmirds (paint used there is plasti-kote Black gloss enamel)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_YY83dGbEI (although that involves using a sand balaster to strip the case first and a paint gun to do the painting)

B&Q & Halfords sell Plastikote spray paint

The top one is most definately Matte. The bottom one I can't be sure, but it looks a really bad matte paint that came out reflective on the polished plastic surfaces at the front. Assuming you are refering to the black surfaces.

Someone posted a great log of a custom paint job here:

    might give you some pointers

You're getting thanks for that Kalniel

While it's far more advanced than what DeludedGuy is planning, it has got vital info on clear coat and how to apply it that I was trying and failing to find last night.
Must say it looks hellishly complex and toxic, I think I'll stick with the simple spray can Acrylic clear coat that plasti-kote make.

back on topic, here's the halfords list of plasti-kote and they have a handy store stock checker
    http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...pp||30||pag||2
my advice would be go to a store to buy this as you should be able to see samples to judge colour and finish for yourself
Personally I'd not worry about a clear coat over the painted mesh, it's not in a often handled/scuffable location and the more layers of paint you put on it the smaller the holes will become.

3 or 4 thin coats, don't get too close with the spray can and you should be fine.
Or 1 coat of white and 2 or 3 of colour

Oh and Bill Owen the guy from mnpctech is on Hexus, but he's a busy guy who does case modding professionally, so he probably get's lots of questions from all over the place.
So you may not get a speedy or any reply from him.

Wilkinsons also sell this stuff. I used the glossy black on my Lian Li PC-A70b insides. Matched the
black brushed effect on the outside well.

There is a good guide over a chilled-pc.co.uk where Tom modded a black TJ07

Re: Best Spray Paint? How To?

I finally got around to spray painting my case, I gave it 2 coats of Halfords grey primer with another 2 coats of Halfords Electric/Monza Blue.

Very happy with it, thanks all for the advice.

    Heres some pics.
