In the market for a new case

I am currently in the market for a new case to hold my new computer setup (nf7-s, 3200, 1gb ram but that’s not important) and possibly a water-cooling setup (but later on). I have been looking at a few cases namely Lian Li PC60/61 (would prefer black but not essential), Zorro case (in black or blue), Coolermaster centurion, Coolermaster Wavemaster and the Chenbro gaming bomb. As you may agree 5 completely different cases.

I currently own a Chieftec Matrix full tower case and although a very good case I have decided to get rid of it due to its size and partly due to the noise coming from it (6 80mm fans and 1 Aero 7 Lite).

Now the reason I am posting. Which case would you yourself recommended to host my computer? Despite having the Zorro case up there i am not really into case modding so a windowed side panel is not necessarily.

    Thanks in advance

Does the case we recommend have to be black? If not, then I recommend the Antec P160. Am ordering one myself tomorrow morning. Absolutely gorgeous case!

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

    Why no CM Praetorian?
As Scan are currently doing silver for £68 inc & black for about £10 more ...

but a case with 120mm fans should be quieter - how about a Sonata?

Sonata is probably a bit too small for watercooling. I know it's been done, but I wouldn't like to do it myself...

    Thanks for your suggestions.

I had originally thought about the Sonata but its not really what i am looking for. Plus what Allen said about possible difficulties about fitting a watercooling setup into it.

The Antec P160 is a very nice case and I thank you for the suggestion Allen I have now added it to my list of possible cases. I am not particulary struck on the Praetorian case as its not really my style.

Also, if you want space and coolness (both types), as well as decent looks, try looking at the SavRow SR-71 (http://www.savrow.com/site/sr71.html). Very tasty...

Been reading reviews for the P160 for the last hour and i have decided to deffinatly purchase this case. This case seems to be the only case I have ever heard of to have CD Benzels (exact colour matched as well) included in the bundle. Just need to wait to get paid and i will be ordering ASAP.

    Thanks Allen for the suggestion.

You definitely won't regret it sir! It's a peach of a case, no doubt about that....

Only complaint I've got about the case is that I didn't buy it sooner!

Hehehe, have been looking into decent cases recently, and these are the only two that I like after going through many recomendations.

It was a long, hard decision, but I will be ordering the P160 in a few hours! Next decision is whether or not to go down the 64bit route.....

Looks as though they've nicked Shuttle's heatpipe idea. Not sure if I like the stepped effect though.

Depends on how much this case is reallt.

Those cases cost between £153 and £226 + shipping costs from Japan. I think i will stick to the Antec P160.

Prices found using Yen to £ Convertor.
