    how didficult is it to put a lian li cd drive steather into a coolermaster case?

    hello

    noticed tis article here:

    http://www.hexus.net/review.php?review=576&page=2

    that cd steather looks so sweet...

    they mention the need to mod it if you want to put it in a coolermaster case, well how much? it looks so cool...

    I imagine the door is electrically operated?

    i assume it is a "flap" as the reviewer said - thus it is on hinges and is *knocked* open when you open the cd drive within...

    yeah, i think so. just seems strange that the flap doesn't get stuck under the fascia of the drive when the the cd is ejected (which would make puttin the tray back in impossble...)

    as per pic, the profile of the bezel is such that it don't get stuck (they think of everything!)

    aye, read that one m8 - i'll say thanks to you then, cos this is where i got the idea to remove the plastic bezel off my drive to make its operation a bit quieter/smoother - certainly did the trick

    inb your opp. is it a simple matter to mod one of these to work in a coolermaster201? does it just involve drilling a few holes?

    dgr mate, - i have one of these in my lian li (as per pic) & a mate of mine has a coolermaster centurion case turning up any day now - as soon as the case gets here we'll be commandeering my spare room to get building,

    i can try mine out when the case gets here & let you know if this is of use (although if you're anything like me you won't be able to wait that long )

    if it ain't broke...fix it till it is

    dear me, they look brilliant (unless you don't like aluminium).

    still isn't that the point of modding? make something you like and stuff everyone else doesnt;
