COMPUTEX 2007: Thermalright enters PC chassis market with huge heatsinks

Not content with making some of the largest heatpipe coolers ever to grace the inside of a PC, Thermalright is going one giant leap further with the creation of a series of case-panel-sized coolers that are used together in a family of replacement PC chassis.

Discover more in this COMPUTEX 2007 Headline.

completely over the top and it would probably interfere with most graphics cards to boot

In fact, are CPU sockets in exactly the same place these days?

Bit overkill, and looks painful to install a system.

Normally a fan of thermalright, but that's ugly and looks like it will only work with a few select motherboards.

I think Zalman(?) made cases that were the sole source of cooling, really expensive. I think they marketed them towards recording studios and other placs where silence is a must. Here we go (http://www.zalman.co.kr/eng/product/...t.asp?code=020)

also designed for a completely silent PC. works well, although even it is a bugger to work on.
