External Battery Pack / Charger Recommendations...?

    Hi Guys,

I'm after an external battery pack that I can use to keep my phone topped up during the last few weeks of the summer - whilst my phone might last the day streaming music from Spotify, it'll be dead halfway through the evening/night, which isn't great... so if I can keep it topped up with an external battery pack (like this one from Amazon) that would be great...

However I would take the experiences of Hexites over the bipolar reviews on Amazon... and I couldn't find an existing thread so created one (apologies if there is one already!)..

What do you guys use / what should I go for / what should I avoid?

Budget isn't really too much of a concern, most seem to be comfortably south of £50. I've also got a Samsung 15" Ultrabook but can't see me needing to give that any extra juice, so USB out is all I'm after

    Thanks in advance!

Does your phone have a removable battery? If it does there is a good chance you can get an extended battery...

This is what you need - no further recommendations required!

I have a stepson going to Africa for a few weeks. Can anyone recommend a solar/windup charger that is any good at all ?

I was recently considering getting one myself, and had pretty much decided on the one linked in OP, considering things like price/capacity/output power/reviews/size/etc. However if it's something you'd want to use in your pocket, something like this might be better, although it is lower capacity of course: http://www.amazon.co.uk/External-Por...ds=anker+slim2

I have two. A smallish 2400mah one and a much larger 12000mah one. The smaller one will, combined with my phone battery give me a week of moderate use. The larger one will give me a week of heavy use (playing games, watching videos etc).

The larger one weighs a lot, there is no getting away from how much it weighs, it just weighs a lot!

I have a Veho Pebble (5000mAH) which I've used for the last 3 years. It sits in the bottom of my bag for when I need it.

I'm really happy with this purchase:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/TeckNet®-Por...dp/B008MXJZ62/

But now they do an even bigger (and heavier, mind) version for the same price:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/TeckNet®-Ext...dp/B000UH46YY/

Anyhow, i've definitely already got my money's worth out of it and I've only had it a few months.

not all the good external batteries are in Amazon.
the 8000mAh kinkoo infinite one(ikinkoo.com) is very suitable for you.
