    Raspberry Pi 2

Nice that they have upgraded the CPU a bit, but in the era of ARM converting to 64 bit it seems a shame that they have stuck on v7.

...and before someone points out to me that you can address 1GB of ram with 32 bit, there is more the ARM V8 than memory size.

For the last six months we’ve been working closely with Microsoft to bring the forthcoming Windows 10 to Raspberry Pi 2. Microsoft will have much more to share over the coming months. The Raspberry Pi 2-compatible version of Windows 10 will be available free of charge to makers.

EDIT: Oops, already mentioned in http://forums.hexus.net/hexus-news/3...atibility.html which was postd a few minutes later than this thread.

    Re: Raspberry Pi 2

I tried it our, it works and that is about it, you don't want to use it that way. Linux is far far better on the PI, don't waste your time. (Just my experience).

    Re: Raspberry Pi 2

Well they wanted to keep it at the same price point
    An ARMv8 would go for a higher price than a v7 unfortunately - I suppose we'll see a move to v8 in a Pi2b or Pi 3
