Now tv box/account question

From what I understand is you can have multiple boxes but only use two simultaneously.

My question is can you use more than one box on the same account on different IPs?

For example you have two boxes and you go to your friends with one, will they both work at the same time? Assuming yo have some add on like movies.

Has anyone actually tried?

Assuming the device is registered I believe it should work ok. After all they have to allow for devices working outside of your home network eg your phone.

The device adding limit is the biggest pain, isn't the limit 4 devices but only 1 addition per month? I had to email them when I got a v2 box and tried to add my phone at the same time.
