Hi All,
I'm considering upgrading the telly we have (an old UE46B8000) and replacing it with a newer, possibly slightly larger model. In order to do that though, I need smaller speakers. I've currently got a mix of Q-Accoustic 1020is as front left + right, and the centre and rears from a HKTS7 setup.

I've been pretty impressed by the power output of my JBL charge speaker, so I'm hoping speaker technology has moved on in the last 5 or so years.

Ideally I'm after something about the size of a Bose cube for the satellites and maybe a double/triple for the centre, but I've not heard good things about Bose speakers.

I don't mind paying a bit of a premium as quality is more important than price, and it's likely it'll be a long time before I'm able to upgrade again.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Wharfedale Diamonds, Kef UniQs, Tannoys, Mordaunt Shorts, Acoustic Energy -

all worth a look and listen.

Tip - go to a decent HiFi shop, take some music you are familiar with and listen to all they have with the same music.

Then go buy from Richer Sounds

From memory Wharfdale Diamonds are about the same size as my Q-Accoustic 1020is aren't they? Whatever I get will need to be much smaller. Take your point on listening to some, but I need a starting point first!

You can get decent onkyo receivers on ebay for 50-70 pounds and then I would recommend these http://www.richersounds.com/product/...00/pion-shs100.
