Wireless connection via modern sound-bar and old school system

    Hi

I am fairly sure the knowledgeable ones here will be able to help me.

I have a friend who would like to connect his old school sound system (Kenwood MIDI M62/M-622) to his modern Sony HT-CT260H (sound-bar). The sound system is in a 'man cave' and the sound bar in the living room. The two are close enough to be covered via the router so the wireless signal should travel fairly easily - just a comparison, the streaming device doesn't have to rely on WiFi 2.4Ghz.

As far as I can see, the Kenwood system only has COAX outs.

Any way these two could be connected wirelessly so the Kenwood system playing (tapes or LPs) could be heard via the soundbar??? Easier the better.

    Thanks!

The easiest and cheapest option that comes to mind is a bluetooth transmitter hooked up to the Kenwood's line output or headphone socket, and wirelessly connected to the Sony soundbar via bluetooth.

Bluetooth does have a fairly limited range but transmitting the next room or two should be ok.

Search for "bluetooth audio transmitter", there are loads to pick from.
