I own Sennheiser PC 350 SE's. They are nice but I feel the bass could be better for listening to music. Great for gaming though.

Bass mod them, did mine years ago.
Also they need a really good amp, I had to buy the Creative ZXR to power them as the so called 600ohm amp on my R5E board couldn't push them.

I own Sennheiser PC 350 SE's. They are nice but I feel the bass could be better for listening to music. Great for gaming though.

I can recommend the cheaper razer kraken for an easy to set up solution, the mic sounds great and the fact that it’s usb means it works and sounds the same on any pc.

I'd go with a pair of beyerdynamic DT 770's along with any mic. I personally use a "pro sound" cheapo one i got from maplin but now I would recommend a mod mic.

ModMic is very good for attaching to a headset that does not come with mic; very good quality although the second cable can be a bit of a pain.

I ran one on my Senny 598s for a while before upgrading to a Yeti desktop mic. This works a treat for home setup - both gaming and jumping on conference calls.

For the office I have some cheap Logitech set, fine for short calls but not very comfortable to wear all day.

I had hoped my Bose QC35s would be ideal for in the office, but unfortunately the mic is designed primarily to pick up as much audio as possible to provide noise cancelling capabilities, so is terrible for a noisy office environment!

I recommend Plantronics like their DSP400. Cheap yet have good quality.

My youngest kills headphones like no-one else, but his £35 pair of Sennheisers has put up with more abuse than any three others combined - they sound pretty good for the money too. He has a desktop mic though, so it isn't really a headset.

If you must have a headset, whatever model of HyperX Cloud is current will do you proud - great value for money.

... and I am on my second pair of Sennheisers for audio use, they sound awesome and last decades. For PC work I use Logitech H390 which are pretty good, my wife bought them as a present when I started playing Elite but these days I play that with the Rift on which has its own headphones and mic.

The same experience with my cheapo pair of Sennheisers - I tripped over the cord too many times and after 5 years of that it did eventually stop working. It also managed to survive Parrots too!!

My current pair of PC350SE also survived Parrots too.

I have had my 1st gen PC350's for 7+ years, ran over the cable with the chair more times than I can remember and the amount of times I have been drunk and tried to get another beer with them still on is probably 30+ yet they still work!

I've got some HD429s for proper audio work, and HD219s for daily use. Going to be gutted when/if either pair gives out on me (although you just know they'll be immediately replaced by whatever the equivalent new Senny model is ).

They make very good headsets IMHO. Parrots are curious little buggers,but wow they are destructive!

BTW,you might want to try the HD598SE - they are really great for the money if you can get a pair for under £100 and are very comfortable. However,I tend to like Grados too,as my SR125s have done stellar service too.
