    Napster to go and alternatives

Signed up on 2 week free trial to napster to go with the intention of being able to transfer as much music as I want to to my Portable player(I have a creative jukebox 3 40gb). Not too worried about ability to burn tracks as I mostly listen to music on my pc or mp3 players(I also have a Muvo2 4gb).

Problem I have found is that although both of my players are DRM compatible, I didn't check the small print and found that my players are napster compatible but not napster to go compatible. This means I would have to pay about 79pence for every track I wanted to transfer in addition to paying £14.99pm.

What I really want is ability to download music legally for a fixed price every month but be able to download as much as I want to. Anyone have suggestions for any other services that do this but aren't so constrictive on the exact model of mp3 player you have?
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.

What is wrong with you people?

Simply pay 1p to listen to the track you want, and record the song using a music/movie maker, such as Windows Movie Maker. Then save it in MP3/Wmv, and you're 'sorted'.

Ok, I'm probably going to get lynched for saying that, but it makes sense.

Yeah but if you want todo it an illegal way you might as well just download the discography of that band in about 1hr from your favourite source!

One downside of the monthy payment sites is that if you ever stop your subscription all your tracks'll stop working.

for legal dowloads, itunes seems great. it's a reasonable price if you only want 1 track by a band (rip off if you want a whole album tho) and as far as i know, once youve got it, its yours to do with as you wish?

Bit useless for him though as you can only use iTunes downloads on iPods.

might be a bit dodgy but allofmp3 have passed though their hearing and are allowed to operate due to the laws that they operate within.
