Would a Corsair H100 fit in a Silverstone TJ07 case

I am about to purchase a Corsair H100 and I was wondering if it would fit in my Silverstone TJ07 case.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Yes, but to fit in the top you'd have to do a tiny bit of modding, but will fit fine in the bottom, the bottom can handle triple 120mm radiators.

Brilliant, a thread regarding the exact question I wanted to ask!

    If I may?

How much modding would be required to the top of the case in order to fit the radiators in please? I notice that the edge of my current Asus Rampage mobo is quite close to the two 120mm fans I have there. Maybe 15-20mm gap between edge of mobo and fan.

Is the top position a better place to put the radiators or doesn't it much matter please?

The H100 Radiator is 27mm thick. So it will overlap your mobo at the top.

Plus the pipes might not be long enough to reach the bottom fan mounts.

Also, there have been a few reports of problems with the pump in the H100 (loud, air locks & breaking down). Might be worth spending an extra £50 or so to get an EK CPU watercooling kit (which will easily out perform the H100), i've seen them for £150. With a system to the specs (& cost) like yours that extra cost is easily justifiable (IMO).

Re: Would a Corsair H100 fit in a Silverstone TJ07 case

Hi Samwood, thanks for the response. Unfortunately, the H100 has already been bought for me so it will be delivered to my friend who will bring it round late next week so we can have the fun and games of installing it (i'm a total noob to water cooling).

It's all part of an upgrade to my system as I like to keep it current every couple of years.

Some pics would be interesting - I've got a TJ07 and I'd love to see how the H100 fits in the top

I'll see what I can do.

However, it would be very useful to know more about how it will fit into the TJ07 first though as per my two questions above. Hopefully a nice helpful Corsair person will be along with some assistance (I hope), which would be very much appreciated.

Otherwise i'm just going to buy another case if the Silverstone requires heavy modding.

Re: Would a Corsair H100 fit in a Silverstone TJ07 case

Sorry, I should of responded a long time ago, but since then I held off from buying the H100 and waited for the new version, that is the H100i.

I purchased H100i and I managed to fit it into my Silverstone TJ07 Case at the top and it fits perfectly (although a little tight). I did carry out some modifications, I only made some screw holes in the top grill for attaching the radiator and I had to bend/flatten out the edges of the top grill.

All works a charm. I will post some pics, when I get back home.
