    H50 (2009) mounting bracket for LGA1150?

I've got an H50 from when it first released, and I'm unsure as to whether I'll need a mounting bracket for when I upgrade from my LGA775 build to the new Haswell's.

You just need to use the holes for 1155 as they use the same mounting position.

Thanks for that, I'm assuming 1155 is also the same as 1156, as if I recall that's what the mounting bracket originally supports, along with 775 and 1366 of course.

You don't need to get a new bracket for the socket 1150 (Haswell). Since you have the original version of H50, the blackplate will have 775/1156/1366, you will just need to use the 1156 holes to make it fit on a 1150 motherboard.

Just to CONFIRM as I've actually done this the 1150 is a little off in regards to the 1156 socket, I have an Asus Hero Motherboard and a I7-4770K. I ended up cutting the rear mounting so that I could get the pins in correctly, it's firm enugh so no need to worry about that, running not much above stock at the moment as just doing a BURN-IN session.
