Screws through Corsair cpu cooler radiator fins

Has anyone else ever screwed the screws too far and went right through the other side? Will it cause leaks in the short or long term?

Nope, it will not cause the cooler to leak. if the radiator screws somehow pinched the fins a bit, being the screws a little too long, that's fine. It will not affect the cooler's performance either.

Few. I saw the title and feared this thread would be someone asking whether they could screw a peltier to the radiator fins.

Yeah, at first, you'd think liquid passes through those fins, but they don't. It's the fine tubes between the fins is where the liquid flows.
