    Question warranty info?

im just curious about your ram warranty..... do you support overclocking? thats the question xD as the info on your website doesnt mention it. I dont want to void my warranty but if you do support it, what are the max voltages do these sets support? Computer hardware and software at amazing prices, available online from Scan Computers UK

    Thanks.

    Re: warranty info?

OCing is not the problem so we have no problem with OCing. It's exceeding the rated voltage that is potentially damaging. So, whichever kit you get, if you exceed the rated voltage you have voided the warranty.

    Yes, 2.1v means 2.1v, and not 2.01v.

    Re: warranty info?

ugh, another question xD, sorry for using your time....... my asus p5n-d only seems todo 2.11 or like 2.08, not bang on 2.1, would 2.11 void it though?. Also.... it says the ram is sli ready, but the motherboard is saying SLI memory not detected, in the bios. Any ideas?

thanks again for the quick and helpful response.

edit: Another question rofl. Does this specific ram model support ram mounted fans or what ever they are and would it need it? running at say 1066?

    Re: warranty info?

We allow a 5% tolerance on memory voltages to account for inaccuracies in bios' or, for bios' that don't specifically set to the tested voltage. And, it is not up to RAM to support fans. Our fan cooler and other models I have seen do not attach to the RAM. It attaches to the memory retention tabs. Fans are never a bad idea but, the need can be minimized by good airflow in your case.
