TWINX1024-3200C2PT timings?
Ok, I am running this at 2-3-3-6 2T in my A8N-SLI Deluxe at 2.75V .. I am wondering what values do I put in for the rest:
trc trfc trwt twr There is no auto setting for these individual values on the motherboard. |

Re: TWINX1024-3200C2PT timings?
Ya, i m still overclocking .. so gota reduce the voltage on that but according to corsair spec sheets, it runs at 2.5-3-3-6 @ 2.75V.
trc 19 trfc 21 trwt 6 twr 2 But all these are values when the general auto conf was on, which i switched to manual .. so that values remained and there isn't any individual auto conf for each of them. Overclocking my old system, its a grand opty 165 .. stable at 2.8 with those ram timings, absolutely love it

lol
My 165 is 2.7GHz stable and it should hit 3GHz when I can get around to w/cing it.... hits high temps and is partially stable at 3GHz when air cooled with the side panel off but put it on and it crashes under load .Unfortunately I switched out my C2PTs for a set of 2GB OCZ "Performance" kit... not the best kit that OCs (Doesn't hit 225MHz like my C2PTs - and they did it with no change in timing ) but the performance gain of 2GB was the bigger reason to upgrade.

Re: TWINX1024-3200C2PT timings?
I so want to upgrade to 2GB .. but ddr ram is so expensive I just can't see the benefit. Trying to find a cheap deal on Ebay .. as I dont' want to pay 50 quid for ram. I got 4 gigs of ddr2 for £60 and that too high performance ram. meh
The stock cooler on these optys were pretty awesome, heavy duty stuff. I am still on stock. I am sure it can do more than 2.8, but pushing it above this takes temps to near 60s .. and i don't want to spend another 25 pounds on a better cooler. |

Leave them all at the stock or Auto default setting.

Re: TWINX1024-3200C2PT timings?
Well .. that's the problem. The memory settings individually don't have auto settings. There is just a general auto setting for ALL the timings including cas which then makes it difficult to run the RAM at the best settings.

You can change the memory timings but you have to change them in the mGURU section. Check your manual for how to do this or consult ABIT tech support.

OK, then contact ASUS tech support. Their bios is supposed to allow you to make adjustments to memory timings. If it will not, then you have an issue they should assist you with.
