Do your VX, HX and TX series work perfectly with Abit's IP35 Pro XE?
I would like to know this before buying. It stands between you and Seasonic's S12 Energy Plus series.
If mounted in a P182, will the cables be long enough? (I was thinking of the 12-pin motherboard cable in particular.) Thanks! ~ Kris edit: I posted to soon, could a mod please move this to the PSU section? |

12 pin cable
?surely you mean the 24 pin main ATX power.... or possibly the 8/4 pin CPU power cable.... and if it is an atx motherboard then it will take an atx powersupply.... (which is what the ones you have stated are) and there are quite a few people using the corsar HX series in the p182 succesfully but i can say catagorically... YES, yes it will work... |

Re: Do your VX, HX and TX series work perfectly with Abit's IP35 Pro XE?
I've had problems with ATX PSUs combined with ATX motherboards before. Bugs do happen as do incompatibilities unfortunately. Just want to make sure this is not the case with your PSUs and Abit's IP35 Pro XE board before placing any orders. (My current Seasonic S12 600W has terrible cold boot issues with an old DFI nF4 LP board of mine, the DFI works fine with other PSU's however.)
I meant to say 12v 8 pin cable btw. It's a bit late and I'm tired and sloppy, my apologies. Regarding the cable length, here's a picture: Picture It's quite a far stretch considering the PSU's position at the bottom of the P182 case. If I have to use an extension cable to get it to work, will it work without any problems or should using extensions be avoided at all costs (increased resistance, etc, I'm not that into electrics though)? Do all the VX, HX and TX models feature the same cable lengths? |

Ii've found that the 4pin connecter on my Corsair HX520w only just reaches the connecter on the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L mobo in the Antec 900 case.

Re: Do your VX, HX and TX series work perfectly with Abit's IP35 Pro XE?
Our cable lengths in general are designed to be long enough for full tower cases and work fine with the P180, 182, etc. All our PSUs work fine with the ABIT IP35 series MOBOs.
