    New CX supply

There was a thread closed today on the basis that the information was inaccurate. Baring in mind i absent mindedly suggested this PSU to a reletive the other day (il have to e-mail him tonight and tell him to alter his order i think), can you please support your claim that the information is inaccurate with some evidence as i find the complete arrogance which has been demonstrated quite unprofessional.

You have agreed to have a section on a public technology forum which will from time to time be subject to criticism of your product, that is a risk you run and surely its your duty to excerpt an image of professionalism?

I remember seeing a video corsair did a few years ago where they demonstrated why a bad quality PSU should not be used, perhaps you should recreate that demonstration with the new power supply to prove the invalidity of the claims.

    Re: New CX supply

A 15 second Google search will reveal to all that want to know that CWT does not have a 300w model DSAII unit. I cannot in good conscience allow a thread to keep going that is relying on false (mis)information to keep going in the Corsair section.

This post serves no purpose other than to misinform Corsair customers that come to this specific section for information and support. The thread was not edited in any way.

    Re: New CX supply

All the CWT units which do come under that product range are 80-plus. Infact the the 80plus which i would assume corsair to have modified would be the 450 which is 80plus bronze and yet the new corsair CX unit doesnt have 80-plus at all.

Are you suggesting that the corsair unit is not actually a CWT unit at all?

Can you confirm that these power supplys will stand up to the loads which are suggested in the specification? A lot of what i have been reading has suggested otherwise.

    Re: New CX supply

So which one is the CX430 based on? Is it an under rated 450watt or an over rated 400watt ?

    Re: New CX supply

    Thanks YB,

I hope you can appreciate the need and preference for us to confront an official source rather than just buy into the hype. Its also good to see Corsair have acknowledged their mistake and will be more careful in future.
