memory issues!!!

hey guys, i recently put together a new rig and has worked fine for a few weeks untill its started displaying the blue screen after startup with memory based errors. i have tried a few things such as resetting the CMOS, resitting the RAM in different slots etc! on another post where i mentioned this some1 advised asking on this forum for the correct voltage to set the RAM at??? or any other suggestions that anyone thinks could help???

The system is as follows:

ABIT IP35-E iP35 Socket 775 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard

Intel Core 2 Duo E4700 2.6GHz (800MHz) Socket 775 2MB L2 Cache

Inno3D 9600GT Armor Edition 512MB DDR3 Dual DVI HDTV Out PCI-E Graphics Card

Corsair 2GB Kit (2x1GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 XMS2 Memory Non-ECC Unbuffered CL5(5-5-5-12) Heat Spreader Lifetime Warranty

Coolermaster Centurion 5 All Black Case + 550W eXtreme Power Plus PSU

plus a western digital HD and the other generic gear!!!

The OS is vista ultimate 64!

I would greatly appreciate any information anyone can give me as its driving me crazy!!!

First, revert all OC'es and timing tweaking to stock. Run the memories at advertised speeds and voltages. Then run MemTest86 for a day and see if it comes up with any errors.
Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

If it doesn't but your blue screen persists, you can try Prime95. If Prime95 neither comes up with any errors, it's probably not your memory.

I reckon the next thing you should do is check the RAM itself, by running MemTest86 on it.
Doing it overnight would probably be the best idea, 'coz it's best to let it run for a few hours.

turns out it was the memory, and good old corsair replaced it as soon as i posted it to them! good stuff
