If it's not running at stock 1600mhz timings try one stick at a time. One of them might be bad.

    The ram is brand new.

Might set back to 1600mhz and try memtest. Forgot about that.

I thought you were running @ 1600MHz , due to post below

    Looks like it's sorted.
As Corsair tech page don't state CR, I decided to read some reviews of the RAM you have, to see if it confirm what CPU-Z memory tab profile data is stated.

2T is it's stock CR with timings/volts on Corsair page/CPU-Z memory tab.

The reviews I read can get this RAM to work 1T but I'd just try 2T first, once known all good then tinkering time (if you want) .

Have you tried what kalniel suggested? change the command rate to 2T and see if that changes anything. Also in your BIOS, are you able to change CPU-NB Voltage? If you can, try adding +0.05 to +0.1 depending on stability.

Re: Vengance LP running at 1333mhz , not at 1600mhz

I think I have found my issue.....

When I set-up my ram initally on manual mode, I set the speed but never adjusted the timings to 9,9,9,24 as needed. i left it at s 11,11,10,44 ( or something like that ).

i set them correctly and computer seems fine now.

    Silly me.

That's what I was trying to say, set the speed and timings manually. Glad you got it sorted.

Re: Vengance LP running at 1333mhz , not at 1600mhz

I actually thought I did, presuming that when set to manual, it defaulted to the ram timings. Seems like it stuck to the auto timings set by mobo.

    Thanks for your help.

Re: Vengance LP running at 1333mhz , not at 1600mhz

No worries. I was slightly disappointed with the Ram as it wasn't very overclockable. The more I read about it, I doubt for my PC uses I'd notice. Being able to undervolt satisfied my nature to tweak.
