    Corsair RAM 2x4GB?

need to upgrade RAM on a gigabyte MATX Z97 board, but is there a major difference between the different types of Corsair RAM, or just go with the cheapest? Not a major gaming rig so OC not a consideration

Doesn't really matter too much, 1600 MHz CL9 seems to be the sweet spot for performance vs price but thats just my take on it, it doesnt really matter.

I personally go for XMS3 RAM because I think it looks the least silly too.

Before ordering your RAM it is worth checking on Gigabyte's Memory Support List to be sure that the kit you go for has been tested for compatibility with your choice of motherboard. That doesn't mean that an unlisted kit won't work but at least it gives you peace of mind.
