Hmm, I need a 5 channel solution. What output will it be? Keep meaning to have a play with the Hypex ncore stuff but never get the time..

Haha, are you on avforums? I have an ongoing thread there. The modules I'm using at the moment are the traditional UcD ones with the additional HxR regulators (which aren't shown in the renders). I also have a stereo Ncore setup at home, but that's strictly a DIY thing and you can't resell them (although I'm working with Hypex on their new Ncore stuff). They do sound very, very nice though! The build above uses the UcD400HG modules, so 400W per channel into 4Ω, 240W into 8Ω loads. But the unit is designed for driving all channels at full power without any corners cut (hence the triple SMPS setup). It's easy to swap out for the UcD180 modules. You could go for the bigger UcD700 modules, but wouldn't get 5 channels in a 3RU enclosure.

PMC fan are you? I've tried the Ncores with OB1i and they sound good

Anyway, we're veering into audio discussions and not rendering
