However, if you are still not happy, I suggest you go to the Intel website, get the data sheet for the precise version of your CPU, at look up the column for maximum junction temperature, tj, and maximum CPU case temperature and check that you are operating within those limits, as I suggested earlier here:

And you have had an answer, you must decide who you want to believe, and as suggested earlier, looking at the data sheet for your device may help you decide for yourself.

I had a look at the 4790k data sheet last night. The processor contains very sophisticated thermal protection that initially throttles the CPU in several stages, and finally shuts itself down when the internal sensor reaches 130C.

So to reiterate

Your processor will operate at 90 -100 C regardless of the application that is working it, and it is not dangerous. It will slow itself and then shut itself down if dangerous temperatures are reached.
