    i've also been having some issues with the beta version, so have reverted back to the public release.
    I've completed 2500 out of 250000 steps, so it looks like im going to be here a while

    The SMP version installed ok for me, but it hasn't managed to set itself up to run automatically on logon, so I'm having to run it manually. I've managed to get up to 57% so far!

    Yes. It takes at least a frame for it to calculate a proper estimate of how long it's going to take for the WU, so it displays something completely out for a while. And sometimes, they just are that big (if you allowed big jobs).

    Except there aren't any and there haven't been for a while now iirc. Not to mention they were for slow computers anyway.

    I don't know how I've managed to make it to the top, this dual core fah client must be better than I expected I'm only running it on a 1.86 core2duo (as well as a few other pcs... but none of them are dual core...)

    I just went Dual Core A64 but the Radeon X1900 seems to turn it in fast enuogh to outstrip my CPU.
