post your PPD see waht every one is getting

post your PPD here system spec be nice as well be intresting to see what numbers we get in here (that is if anyone has got one yet) i come back and edit this post with users PPD scores and tips on getting more (that should work with any Nvidia CUDA cards {8600+)

gpu clock speeds use GPU-z, (Clock/RAM/shader clock)
    PPD
    cpu
    OS
    Video drivers been used
and any thing els you wish to put in (like SMP client running)

    ---------- e.g.
8800 GTX 576/1800/1600 (not game stable only at 1350 shader)
    PPD 5100 avg
    intel quad Q6600 2.4ghz 65nm
    XP 32
    177.35 (ini mod)
(SMP client set to90% and GPU2 set to higher priorty from GUI)
    ----------
    get one of these
    winxp 177.35
    xp 64 177.35
    vista x86 177.35
vista x64 177.35 warning useing this driver with the ini mod below you must start the pc up with the driver sig disabled, windows Vista 64 only will not let you install it or let you boot up with it once this is installed with the item below if disable sig option not used (press F8 to get the windows boot menu)

you need is if your not got $$$ to spend on an 260 or 280 (it alow you to use the upto date driver on 8600 or higher)

hmm just got a HD 4870, thought i best re-join the whole folding shenanigans...

got the GPU2 client running on one core and the CPU client running on the 2nd...

1017.xx ppd for the gpu - seems super low ?
119 for the cpu - low too?

so a grand total of (a pathetic) 1137.xx ppd.

why so low? should i just stick to pure gpu? or is it it just a case of waiting for ati to better optimise the drivers / cal for the hd 4870?

anyone managed to grab some of the new (larger) WU on the GPU2 client?

pulling in close to 3000 PPD now (120 from the CPU / ~2800 GPU2), much better than the ~1200 i was getting with the 1.04 core

    woop!

[e!] closed the CPU client, and now im getting 3200 with the GPU2 client, woop

Strolls onto top 20 producers list.

    Oh, hi! I'm new here.

Should be up to 1900PPD avg in a few days.

Now if only they'd release a GPU2 Linux client...

i'm winding down my folding activities entirely - it's a dramatic waste of time given the way all my machines seem to fail to upload results

Does that mean I can have your place in the top producers list for the team, hex

That would be a shame; not sure why you have so much trouble.

Re: post your PPD see waht every one is getting

I am now getting just under 4000ppd, finaly got 2xsmp clients working relitively trouble free (toutches wood) and brought my 2900 into play when I got a proper waterblock for it (runs at about 45C loaded now, low 30's idle), also managed to find another 400mhz in my processor by installing a fan onto my side panel which has cooled my pwm down from 75C to 56C, so I am pretty sure that it's temp was what was holding the cpu back.

Edit: that 4k per day figure is based on me folding 24/7, which I don't do, prehaps 16 hours a day and I get ~3kpd for that.
