| Re: Folding i7 with HT You can run two SMPs to max out the CPU, alternatively SMP with 4x Uni clients or simply 8x Uni clients. Also, don't forget GPU folding, that can soak up an extra core too, e.g. 1x SMP, 3x Uni & 1x GPU. When running multiple clients on the same machine, remember to have unique client machine IDs. However, the guys behind F@H don't recommend folding on 'HT cores', it slows down WU return times which is bad for the work they're doing. Last edited by DDY; 31-10-2009 at 10:56 PM.. |
